The Academy of Cheese provide industry-recognised accreditations – from introductory Level One right through to Master of Cheese.

We’re now running Level One & Two courses, led by our Head Cheesemonger, at The Cheese Barge.

 

Level One (Associate)

 

Our Academy of Cheese Level One course is all about giving you the tools to go from a humble cheese lover to a verified cheese connoisseur.

Learn about how cheese is made, how to taste like a pro, and how to approach cheese pairing with The Cheese Bar’s maverick spirit.

We’ll cover everything from The Make Process and the art of the Affineur, to the history of cheese, but – ultimately – we’ll taste and enjoy lots of amazing cheeses – from the UK and beyond.

We’ll also learn how best to select and serve cheeses, as well as what to drink with them – so whether you’re looking to gain knowledge to use at work, or simply to impress your mates with on cheese & wine night, our course will have you living your best Cheese Life in next to no time!

One Day Course – 9.30am – 4.30pm / Includes 10 Cheeses + Lunch on The Cheese Barge
